Mark's Home at Sparrowood of Avon


The 1800's cape in West Hartford where flooring for walls and cupola, doors, and front stepping stones for Sparrowood came from.

Stepping stones.

Antique flooring now on wall between Kitchen and Great Room.

Antique  mustard flooring now sheathes the Shed Pantry.

Red flooring now sheathes small Kitchen Pantry.

New floors are installed at Sparrowood. This is where the kitchen island now sits.

Floors are aged. This is at the foot of the small Kitchen Pantry.

Scraping the old flooring in preperation for installation. These blue boards now sheathe the dining area in the Great Room.

This is the Shed Pantry before antique sheathing, etc.

This is the Kitchen Pantry before door, sheathing, etc.

The small Kitchen Pantry is now sheathed and an early green door with multi-paned window is installed.

Antique iron fencing for front Cottage Garden goes up.
